We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who participated in X Games Chiba (XGC) and made it possible through Hello Volunteer, despite having fewer volunteer slots compared to last year. 🛹✨
From May 12th (Friday) to May 14th (Sunday) this year, we had three days of non-stop excitement. However, we were at the mercy of the weather throughout the event… Unfortunately, the second day on Saturday had to be canceled due to rain, causing inconvenience to many of our members. 😭
Nevertheless, thanks to the efforts of all the volunteers who were active before and after the event, as well as the participation of students from Chiba Prefecture, we were able to successfully conclude the competition. 😊🙌🛹🏍 Thank you so much for your support. 🙏
The charm of volunteering in this event lies in the fact that while each volunteer is expected to be proactive and take the initiative, they are also granted more freedom and autonomy compared to regular volunteer activities. In other words, there is a pleasant “unfinished” aspect that allows volunteers to experience “change” and “growth” in a unique way. Unlike other volunteer activities that have comprehensive and detailed manuals and procedures, our volunteer activities are creatively built by all members under the guidance of leaders. We hope you enjoyed this aspect as well. 🥰

Prior to the competition, within the X Games Chiba 2023 volunteer team, we organized a skateboarding experience session at Soga Sports Park to enhance our enjoyment of the event. 🛹💕
Some participants hadn’t ridden a skateboard in months, while others were trying it for the very first time. Our snowboarding 🏂experienced friends fearlessly glided around like pros, showing us that fearlessness is key when facing any challenge. 🤩🙌✨ As we all gathered to skate and have lunch together, we re-experienced the joy of bonding and had lively discussions about the athletes participating in X Games Chiba 2023. 🥰💕
